6th May 2018
That’s the day that will see a team from JC tackling the highest mountain in Wales – Snowdon – which stands 1,085 feet above sea level… and all in support of our favourite local charity. Once again we’ll be raising money for a charity very close to our hearts – Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
Based in Loughborough, Rainbows is committed to supporting life-limited children, young people and their families and has been doing so since 1994. Rainbows provides a Hospice that gives care and support to families that helps raise the quality of their life through difficult times, caring for the children and young people until the end and helping with bereavement for the parents and siblings left behind.
“Just like everyone else, our children need a place to play, laugh and love life,” say Rainbows…. and we have a chance to help.
So, we’ll travel up on the Saturday night, eat a hearty breakfast the next morning and start out first thing on the 6th May! Afterwards, once everyone has made it back to base, we’ll have a brew and enjoy the glory of what we have accomplished before making our way back home.
We might not see you at the top of a mountain but you could help us out by sponsoring us!
