JC Metalworks is bidding a fond farewell to Celia after her ten-year tenure in our finance department. Everyone will greatly miss her kind and caring nature, exceptional management skills, and dedication to her work.
Celia’s role
Celia has been an integral part of our finance department for the past decade. Her role has been to maintain the purchase ledger, Tensor systems, and manage invoices. In addition, she took on the responsibility of HR-related admin after the pandemic. Throughout, she handled everything with the utmost efficiency. Everyone who enjoyed working with her has appreciated her dedication and hard work.
A decade-long journey with JC Metalworks
During her time with us, Celia witnessed the company’s remarkable growth and has been impressed with how streamlined everything has become. She feels JC Metalworks has evolved into a larger, more robust organisation driven by a commitment to efficiency, and is proud to have been part of the JC family which keeps its employees at the heart of everything and at the same time embraces innovation to stay ahead.
Reflecting on a remarkable boss
Celia had nothing but positive things to say about her reporting manager, Phil, who she described as easy-going and understanding, always calm and composed whatever the demands and challenges. She commended him for his hard work, which ensured smooth operations within the organisation.
Fun times
Celia found immense joy in the gatherings at JC Metalworks, especially when she had the opportunity to connect with the “girl gang”, including Dimple and Sheela. These happy times with her colleagues have made her career at JC Metalworks even more memorable and rewarding.
Fish n Chips party
The retirement party for Celia was a fantastic event that brought together colleagues from both the shop floor and the office. The delicious fish and chips were the celebration’s highlight and were enjoyed by everyone. There was a lot of laughter and conversation, and heartfelt speeches were made to express gratitude to Celia for her contributions to the company and to wish her all the best for her future. It was a beautiful reminder of the strong bonds formed among coworkers and the enduring friendships that make up Team JC, like one big family.
Good luck to her successor
As Celia bids farewell and embarks on a new chapter in life, she extends her heartfelt best wishes to her successor, Ibrahim. She appreciates his talent and has full confidence in his ability to excel after taking over her responsibilities.
On a personal note…
Celia eagerly anticipates her retirement, having seen the joy her husband has experienced in being retired for over six years. She is looking forward to spending quality time with him, travelling and reconnecting with loved ones to create cherished memories. Her family brings her immense joy, including her two sons, two grandchildren, and the anticipation of a third grandchild.

As Celia moves on to the next chapter, everyone at JC wishes her all the best. Jason said that “Celia’s contributions to the company have been significant, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for the company.”
Phil said,” I have worked with Celia for the last 9 years and I must say that her dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring. I found her to be extremely dependable and her contributions to our team have been fantastic. I am grateful to her for all that she has done and wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.”
