As 2022 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the contributions JC Metalworks has made this year towards our employees, our community, and the environment.
We care about our employees
At JC Metalworks, we firmly believe that success is a two-way street. We want our employees to thrive and stay with us for a long time, and so in return we provide job security and the opportunity to grow. We strive to create a strong company culture that people are drawn to and want to stay a part of.
We have adapted our values, vision, and mission in order to meet the changing needs of our employees.
Our shop floor boasts the latest technology and we have health and safety protocols in place. To provide a clean and healthy atmosphere, we have installed the best ventilation and extraction systems in our workspace.
We focus on making sure our team members are happy, and empower them by providing training and support for them to grow in their careers.

We care about our community
We are always looking for new ways to give back to the community and benefit people across Loughborough and the East Midlands. Steph and Bekki from our Events Team organised many events throughout the year to raise money for important causes, and our management and employees regularly participate in charity events and contribute to various charities.
JC Metalworks appreciates the wonderful work of the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and is pleased to have been able to contribute to it by raising funds. Earlier this year we raised £975 through a raffle draw for the Rainbows event “It’s a Knockout”.
Our Managing Director Jason Chauhan has a personal interest in running, and decided to use his passion to raise money for Rainbows by running in the London Marathon, raising £7,221. Jason said, “I decided to run for Rainbows not only to raise money for them but also to spread awareness of the amazing work they are doing.”

On 18th June 2022 Duane, the Team Leader of our Forming Department, raised £850 for Loros Hospice by cycling 100 miles from Leicester Clock Tower to Skegness beach. There were 150 riders and he finished fourth. A member of our despatch team Bharat Lad, together with a group of friends, decided to raise money for Worldwide Cancer Research by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Together they raised £12,700. We are so proud of our team for their contributions towards local charities.

We would also like to offer up a massive thanks to all the local businesses and comrades who donated prizes and make our fund-raising events even more special by providing attractive exciting gifts and prizes. A big shout out to you all… you have an awesome heart

We care about our planet
We believe that metal fabrication companies can play a role in protecting and preserving the environment.
At JC Metalworks, we aim to operate in an ethical and sustainable way and assess our environmental and social impact on a regular basis. We are committed to push for renewable energy, and strive to make sure our production elements are as environmentally friendly as possible.
The machinery used in metal fabrication can have a huge impact on environment; using less energy can help to combat climate change. We have invested in energy-efficient equipment to reduce our energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
We have implemented a waste management system to properly dispose of hazardous materials and minimize their impact on the environment, and use eco-friendly products and processes.
Also, since fabricated metal components play a vital role in the manufacture of technologies that facilitate green energy production, we are actively seeking to partner with companies producing solutions such as EV chargers and heat pumps.
By implementing these and other environmentally friendly practices we work towards meeting our sustainability goals and bring about a greener future.
