Coming from varied backgrounds and with different abilities, employees play a crucial role in the success of an organisation. Some blend in with the company’s work culture and stay for many years, while others move on. It is the long-term employees who make major contributions to the growth of the company and are considered valuable assets.

After serving for more than 6 years, Piotr Gorny has retired on 13th May. We at JC Metalworks have valued his work and greatly appreciate the time he has given to our company. We were delighted to arrange a farewell gathering to provide him with happy memories of his last day with us, which he can look back on with pleasure.

Piotr is a very friendly and reliable person, who likes to give his best in all the jobs he undertakes. Starting out with us as an agency worker, he was a forklift driver in his initial months. The JC Team Leader was quick to appreciate his skills and arranged for him to come onboard as a full-time employee in our Assembly and Dispatch Department. He inspired his team and always stayed focused on his work. He made friends in all departments, and no one ever had cause to complain about him.

Denver, Team Leader of the Assembly Department, said he had been upset about Piotr’s decision to take early retirement and tried hard to get him to postpone it. But Piotr has arranged his retirement to coincide with his wife Beata’s, and together they plan to enjoy life back in Poland with their three sons. Piotr is happily looking forward to this new phase of his life, with plans to go fishing in freshwater rivers and relax amongst nature.

Piotr names Janusz as his close friend. Januz feels proud to have known and worked with Piotr, with whom he shares a great rapport.

Janusz said “Not many know that Piotr has a funny streak and can be very hilarious at times. I am both sad and happy about his retirement because I will miss him and at the same time, I know he will really enjoy and have a relaxed life ahead.”

Denver said “During his time with JC Metalworks, Piotr’s adherence to the code of conduct will continue to inspire many other employees in the company. We have been very lucky to have him as part of our assembly team. On behalf of the team, we reiterate that Piotr has been among the best colleagues in the past 6 years. He has always carried a great attitude; he is like a father figure to all of us.”

Jason, our Managing Director, said “As Piotr is retiring, we are happy for him. And we would like to extend our warm wishes to him and his family. Parting ways is never easy, especially when dedicated employees like Piotr say goodbye to us. We would like to thank him for giving his services to our company. It is because of employees like him, organizations like us are able to thrive better.”

Everyone at JC Metalworks wishes Piotr Gorny, Goodluck and lots of joy in the time to come.
