We Helped Loughborough RFC Raise £5k for its Junior Section

Last weekend, Loughborough RFC hosted a Mini Rugby Festival to raise money for its Junior section. JC Metalworks offered assistance with the event, contributing services that helped to generate £5000 total profits.
Managing Director Jason Chauhan and Assembly Coordinator Vipul Jansari helped out with the festival by lending JCMetalworks’ sheet metal manufacture yard to be used as a car park. Originally, 80 parking spaces were offered. However, the event was busier than expected, and JC Metalworks was happy for most of the factory yard to be used as parking for dozens of spectators and players.
Parking sales helped contribute £1300 to the event’s total earnings of £5000. All profits will be used to fund the Junior section of the Loughborough RFC, which is run entirely by volunteers. The section helps young rugby players hone their athletic skills, foster teamwork and learn discipline.
‘Thank you for the use of your car park for our annual mini rugby tournament. With your support the whole day was a complete success with a healthy profit,’ says Nick Parsons, an organiser of the event. ‘A big thank you to Vipul who was a star man both prior to and on the day of the festival with his positive attitude’.
It is important to give back to the local community, and JC Metalworks is happy to have been of assistance to the Loughborough RFC Mini Rugby Festival. The funds raised will go to a great cause that benefits young athletes in Loughborough.
